This Privacy Policy explains how Mallorca Renovation collects and uses your personal data when you use mallorcarenovation.com. We are committed to protecting your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data-protection law (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we collect
We collect data you provide and data collected automatically:
- Contact details you submit through our forms, quote requests, cost calculator or guide download: name, email address and phone number.
- Project details you choose to share: property type, approximate size, renovation level, quality level, location and your message.
- Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device information, and usage data via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To connect you with Providers and respond to your enquiry – based on your consent and on taking steps at your request prior to a possible contract with a Provider.
- To send the guide or information you requested – based on your consent.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site – based on our legitimate interest.
- To send marketing, where you have opted in – based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Sharing your data with renovation Providers
The core purpose of this Site is to introduce you to independent third-party renovation and building companies and other service providers (“Providers”). By submitting your details, you consent to us sharing them with one or more relevant Providers so they can contact you and prepare a quote. Each Provider is an independent data controller responsible for its own use of your data under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for how Providers handle your data once shared. If you do not wish your details to be shared, please do not submit them.
5. Other recipients
We use trusted service providers (processors) who act on our instructions, such as website hosting, form and email delivery, and analytics. They process data only as needed to provide their service.
Address lookup. The location step of our quote form uses Google Places to suggest addresses and areas on Mallorca. Nothing is sent to Google until you type in that field. From then on what you type and your IP address are sent to Google so that it can return suggestions, and the place you choose is looked up once so we receive its address, its coordinates and its Google place identifier. No map is displayed at any point. Google handles that data under its own Privacy Policy and may process it outside the EEA, under safeguards of the kind described in section 6.
6. International transfers
Your data is processed within the EU/EEA where possible. If any processor transfers data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and contact data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
